Invincible Software Holdings ("ISH”) is the natural home for young and robust SaaS companies focusing on the B2B market. ISH is an active software holding company, for a group of independent software companies with entrepreneurial leaders. These companies share similar qualities:
ISH was created from a shared vision of the founders, that we can build a strong portfolio of founder-run SaaS companies by investing early and supporting the existing team. ISH combines specialists from private equity and experienced SaaS entrepreneurs, with multiple successful exits behind them.
Invincible was created to meet the needs of smaller high-growth SaaS companies. Our aim is to elevate the businesses we invest in through the careful introduction of capital and skills. We don't want to change everything and make it all rather 'corporate'. We want to harness the small company energy and back the existing management.
Traditional private equity funding is generally targeted at businesses that have reached a scale of a minimum of €5 - 10M ARR. We believe that there is real value in investing earlier and helping owner/founders to develop in order to reach that level of revenue and beyond. This help will typically be a combination of capital invested and importantly, skills and knowledge. While we are stronger together as a group, our approach is tailored to the individual companies to support entrepreneurial decisions at customer level. One size does not fit all.
Our reach includes Europe, the UK and Australia. We will invest in companies in these regions and can help our group companies expand internationally, with experienced people on the ground.
We don't expect your business to be perfect. Most we see have some gaps in skill-set, structure and product. But if we can see how to bridge these gaps then we are willing investors.
Turning a good business into a great one takes only a short number of steps but it is a tricky path. We believe that we have the capabilities to help navigate that path.

Michael is an experienced technology entrepreneur with numerous start-ups, investments, exits and acquisitions to his name. Most recently, Michael Chaired webexpenses through a period of global expansion resulting in a sale to ASX-listed ELMO Software in Sydney.
Matthias started his career as an engineer at ExxonMobil and moved into private equity after his MBA. Following 12 years in the private equity sector with a focus on software and IT, Matthias founded Strada Partners which supports Invincible Software Holdings.
Bart is an engineer by training, who started his career at Bain & Company as a strategy consultant. He has over 12 years of experience as private equity investor in mid- to large-size companies across Europe at Bain Capital and Core Equity Holdings, where he was a Managing Director.
Ash has worked in SaaS for much of his career in the UK and Australia with experience of working internationally. With a strong Sales & Marketing focus Ash has built operations and Sales teams from scratch in new territories and delivered strong investment returns.
Based in Brisbane, Ash manages the ANZ operation for ISH.
